Religion, Culture and Tradition
Who famously founded Hinduism?
Bet your knowledge and answer Start the quizCorrect answer
No one
Explanation
Hinduism is the term for several different religious traditions originating in South Asia (modern-day India, Sri Lanka, Pakistan, Nepal, and Bangladesh). There are over a billion adherents of the religion, of whom around 900 million live in India. Unlike religions such as Buddhism, Christianity, and Islam, Hinduism has no founder. For the same reason, Hinduism's world of thought and practice is not a cohesive system, but rather a series of themes and practices woven together through a long historical development.
